William Joseph Casbolt

Bill was born on March 3, 1938. Bill as a Electrical Mechanician and served on HMS Gambia from 1957 to 1959. He was married to Rene and they both attended many HMS Gambia Association events. Bill was elected Chairman of the HMS Gambia Association at the Annual General Meeting in Chester on Saturday, September 16, 2006. He passed away on July 16, 2010.

Know ye that on the twenty first day of September in the year 1957 HMS Gambia did cross ye Arctic Circle in Latitude 66° 33' and in Longtitude 9° 28' E having on board
