Kenneth Hodgkin

Kenneth "Ken" Hodgkin was born on August 13, 1931 in Loughborough, Leicestershire. He was a Leading Seaman and served in the navy from 1946 to 1956 on HMS St. Vinent, Gambia, Newcastle, Cardigan Bay, Fancy, Cumberland, Cadiz, Opossum (frigate) and Glory. It is unknown when he served on HMS Gambia, but he served on HMS Opossum from August 8, 1954 to January 1, 1956. He was a member of the HMS Opposum Association. He was a volunteer collector for the RNLI, enjoyed garening and dining out in pubs. Ken passed way on January 31, 2017 aged 85.
